YOUR PODIATRISTS IN TURRAMURRA

James Stone - Steps Smart Podiatry

James Stone

Podiatrist

I grew up on the far north coast of NSW, where sunshine and surf was part of the language! It was through this love of sports and competing that I had my first experiences with injuries. At the time these injuries involved frustration and debilitating pain, however they created a passion in me to help people who also experience lower limb pain.

Fast-forward 20 years, and I decided to become a Podiatrist, completing a Bachelor of Podiatry degree at Newcastle University.

I believe it was through my own personal foot experiences, which pushed me to find a career that I can be so passionate about. Finding the best possible treatments for my patients gets me out of bed in the morning.

I love being a Podiatrist! It doesn’t really feel like a job to me as I truly enjoy helping people with their foot problems, and find it so satisfying when my patients leave the Turramurra clinic feeling better than when they came.

James is available Monday to Saturday, and Saturdays at Step Smart Podiatry Turramurra, and is also available for Home Visit appointments.

James is still an avid surfer and loves playing soccer for Corpus Christi Hawks In St Ives. He is a local member of the community, living in St Ives with his Wife Maddy, and children Tommy, Lilly and Sophie.
